Grand Prix Electrique Pile Up at 2011 Grand Prix de Pau [video]

The first Grand Prix Electrique held in France last weekend at the Pau street circuit featured 11 all-electric race cars.

The cars were the same spec as those used for Ice Racing in the Andros series. The 13-mile race had reached average lap speeds of nearly 62 mph. Unfortunatley 6 cars were seriously damaged in the accident above.
