GM Set Record Volt Sales for 3rd month in a row

Chevrolet Volt has set a new monthly sales record with 2,961 U.S. deliveries in October, beating its previous best monthly record of 2,851 set in September and 2,831 units sold in August 2012.

So far this year, GM has sold 19,309 Chevrolet Volts, up from 5,003 units sold in the same month last year, a 385% YoY increase.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Leaf sold 1,579 units in October, up from 984 in September, a 86% increase over the prior year.

For the year, Nissan has sold 6,791 Leaf EVs in the U.S.
